andrei boutyline

Andrei Boutyline's primary medium is photography. His interest is the city and the urban citizen. Often, this takes the form of urban photography that focuses on the interaction of a model/actor with the patterns of the city. His performance work similarily mixes planned and unplanned elements, confronting the viewer with breakdowns in social order that are often confusing and bewildering (but never cruel or unwarranted).

Andrei holds a degree from UC Berkeley in Cognitive Science and is an accomplished software enginner.
